If a child requires medicine it remains the responsibility of the parent/guardian to ensue it is administered correctly. If children bring medicines with them it is their responsibility to store and administer it themselves and Barnsley FC's Community Sports & Education Trust accepts no liability for loss or damage.

Staff are qualified first aiders and will administer emergency treatment (including 'Epi-Pen' treatment when provided) where necessary.

BEHAVIOUR POLICY

Children will be given a welcome talk on the first day of each soccer school which will include an outline of the type of behaviour that is acceptable and unacceptable.

It is essential that the children play safely and consider others when playing; be kind, friendly and respectful to adults and other children; listen to their coach at all times; respect no go areas; and put rubbish in bins. Shouting, swearing, name calling and bullying will not be tolerated.

In the event of these rules being broken we operate a 'three-warning' system

Barnsley FC's Community Sports & Education Trust policy challenges discrimination in all areas of the organisation and we believe our groups activities should be open to all children and families.

We wish to ensure that our club meets the needs of the local community and incorporate equal opportunities in all areas. All children will be treated with respect, recognise that individual children have individual needs. No child will be discriminated against because of race, culture, class, religion, gender, ability or disability. The club will not tolerate language or behaviour designed to be offensive.
