MP Jeff Ennis is the latest high profile figure to lend his support to the Reds' 'Stronger Together' campaign as Barnsley Football Club looks to unite the local community behind Simon Davey's side.
The Member of Parliament for Barnsley East and Mexborough said: "Speaking as a former primary school teacher and supporter of Barnsley FC since 1964, I'm delighted with Barnsley's initiative to cut season ticket prices and the offer of free tickets for youngsters.
"Barnsley FC has always figured highly at the heart of the community of Barnsley and these initiatives once again underline the importance of the football club to Barnsley".
