SIMON Grayson has insisted Keigan Parker will not leave Bloomfield Road until the situation is right for Blackpool.

Speaking ahead of the FA Cup Third Round clash, Grayson told his club's Official Website (www.blackpoolfc.co.uk): "It has come out from their end but we have agreed a fee with Barnsley for Keigan Parker. There are one or two clubs interested in him but Keigan has made is quite clear that he does not want to stay with us.

"He has six months left on his deal so we have the opportunity to get some money for him but the deal is far from being completed.

"Everybody knows that we are trying to sign Stephen McPhee from Hull City but that deal is dependant on them keeping Fraiser Richardson from Manchester United. Similarly any deal for Keigan is dependant on me bringing someone into this club first.

"You can agree fees and agree personal terms but until the time is right Keigan will still be our player. You can put all the wheels in motion but we will have the final say.

"One or two other clubs may now come in as well.

"We are trying to bring players in to make our team and our squad better. Keigan has made it clear that he does not want to sign a new deal and this is an opportunity to get a little bit of money in before he leaves".
