PARKER RELEASED BY BLACKPOOL
KEIGAN Parker, who snubbed the chance to join Barnsley back in January, is looking for a new club after being released by Blackpool.
The Reds had agreed a six-figure deal with the Seasiders for the striker during the January transfer window but he turned down the move after deciding against the offer of a two-year deal with Simon Davey's Championship side.
Blackpool boss Simon Grayson has made wholesale changes to his squad after they secured their Championship status with eleven players heading through the Bloomfield Road exit door. Parker will join Club captain Michael Jackson, John Hills, Paul Tierney, Phil Doughty, Andy Welsh, Marcus Bean, Lewis Edge, Michael Flynn, Matt Lawlor and Phil Marsh in the search for a new club this summer.
