EX RED LEAVES TOWN
FORMER Barnsley keeper and coach Andy Rhodes has left Ipswich Town.
Rhodes has been with the Tractor Boys since 2004, during which time his son Jordan has risen through the Ipswich youth set up and onto the fringes of the first team.
In a statement, Town revealed:
Town have parted company with goalkeeping coach Andy Rhodes.
Speaking to the Club website Town boss Jim Magilton said: "I'd like to thank Andy for his contribution to the Club since I've been manager here.
"He's been a valuable member of my backroom staff over the last two years but I have decided to freshen things up for the start of next season.
"We wish Andy every success for the future."
The former Oldham, Dunfermline and St Johnstone 'keeper joined the Club as goalkeeper coach in the summer of 2004 under Joe Royle's management.
