DWAYNE ADDED TO THE LIST
BARNSLEY manager Simon Davey has added Dwayne Mattis to the list of players made available for transfer this summer.
Dwayne joined the Reds in January 2007 from League Two side Bury after impressive with the Shakers and previously after coming up through the ranks at Huddersfield Town.
He featured three times for the Reds during the second half of the 2006/2007 campaign.
The 26-year-old was on the fringes of the first team at the start of last season, making a solitary appearance in the Carling Cup at Newcastle United, before joining Walsall on loan in September 2007. Dwayne suffered a fractured leg playing for the Saddlers against Tranmere Rovers in October 2007 but recovered well and was a regular in the reserves during the final months of the campaign. He was given another first team opportunity on the final day of the campaign as a second half substitute against Cardiff City.
Dwayne has made five appearances for the Reds in total.
