FERENCZI TARGETS A EUROPEAN CAMPAIGN
STRIKER Istvan Ferenczi is targeting a return to European football within two years after signing for fallen Hungarian giants Ferencvaros.
The 28-times champions are currently out of the top flight in Hungary but Ferenczi is determined to fire his new side back to glory.
Speaking after joining up with Ferencvaros, Ferenczi said: "There was interest from English and Swedish clubs but I decided to choose Ferencvaros because of its great traditions.
"I want to win promotion with Fradi (Ferencvaros) next May and go for Europe within two years. I very nearly signed for Ferencvaros a few years ago and I am happy that I have done so now."
