BARNSLEY completed the signing of experienced midfielder Andy Johnson in the summer of 2007.
Andy had spent the previous season at Leicester City but jumped at the chance to join Simon Davey's Oakwell revolution.
The former Welsh international has enjoyed spells with West Brom, Nottingham Forest and Norwich City during a career which has taken in almost 100 top flight games.
Andy was a regular for the Reds at the start of the 2007/2008 campaign but lost his place in mid-September and struggled to win it back. He clocked up just five games for the Club although his experience around Oakwell was invaluable as the Reds challenged on two fronts throughout the season.
